Taking my Thoughts for a walk is first of all a statement, a modus operandi that refers to a complex structure of possible narratives. These pretend to be based on individual circumstances, but can also refer to social realities.
From transparent gel, Esther Adam left her "drawing analyses" on glass surfaces in downtown Dortmund in the spring of 2021 . The temporarily processed surfaces not only change the context of the buildings they support, but also the urban contexts of the visual axes. The editions developed by Adam are mobile drawing analyses. Through an oblique mirror surface, they have an immediate impact on their surroundings and new levels of meaning emerge.
