JAHRESGABEN 2020

It is a great pleasure for us to present an exclusive selection of our Jahresgaben to the members and supporters of the Dortmunder Kunstverein. Jahresgaben are mostly artworks created especially for the Kunstverein, which are offered at low prices compared to their market value. In this way, members - and all those who wish to become members - can acquire outstanding quality art at low prices through the Kunstverein.

This year we have again succeeded in making a wonderful, international selection: We were not only able to win over all artists, who have exhibited at the Kunstverein this year, to provide us with Jahresgaben, but have also managed to include other renowned artists such as the Brazilian collective assume vivid astro focus (founded in 2001 in Sao Paulo). Our collection also includes young artists, who are connected to the Ruhr area  through their residencies.

By purchasing annual gifts, you make an important contribution to supporting the artists as well as the work of the Kunstverein: collecting art is - especially in these times - actively promoting culture.
