► Artistic Activation by Renata Lucas, Ricardo Carioba, Renato Custodio, Benjamin Sallum

Ricardo Carioba (b. 1976, São Paulo) is a Berlin-based artist working with visual and sonic media. Influenced by the Brazilian concretist tradition, he explores sound as both a physical and perceptual force. His installations, performances, and sculptural works combine light, video, mechanical systems, and acoustic phenomena to create immersive environments. Inspired by electronic music, he develops dense, evolving textures that challenge conventional notions of time, presence, and perception. His work has been presented internationally in museums, galleries, and experimental spaces, including in São Paulo, Berlin, and Milan.

Renato Custodio (b. 1981, São Paulo) explores urban spaces and their appropriation. Drawing on more than 30 years of skateboarding experience, he has developed an artistic practice that investigates public and private spaces through photography, video, installation, painting, and sound. His work includes permanent and temporary skate-oriented public projects, as well as exhibitions and festival participations in Brazil and internationally. Among his recent projects is Entreposto, a hybrid space combining bar, studio, and gathering place, which gave rise to a series of visual and sound performances.

Renata Lucas (b. 1971, Ribeirão Preto) is a São Paulo-based artist working with site-specific interventions, installations, and conceptual practices. At the core of her work is an investigation of architectural, urban, and institutional spaces, as well as the social and political dynamics embedded within them. Through subtle spatial shifts, she challenges established notions of property, use, and public space. Her work has been presented internationally in museums, biennials, and exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale, dOCUMENTA (13), the Istanbul Biennial, and institutions in São Paulo, Berlin, London, and New York.

Benjamin Sallum is a São Paulo-based DJ and music producer. As an RBMA alumnus and co-founder of the duo and party platform Pista Quente, his practice moves between club culture, experimental music, and contemporary festival formats. He has performed at numerous clubs and festivals across Europe and Brazil, including in Berlin, Geneva, Lisbon, and São Paulo, and is known for his versatile DJ sets and cross-genre musical approach.
