ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop will be led by Fatma Özay.
Carpets tell stories - through colors, motifs and symbols. After a brief look at the origins and symbolism of traditional carpets (for example from Anatolia or Iran), the question is: How can texture be made visible?
The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of experience or background.

Wendy vs Tinkerbell is a bar and workshop space by artist Philip Wiegard at the Dortmunder Kunstverein: From 2025 to 2027, it will be a laboratory for practical and intercultural knowledge transfer, with a special focus on arts and crafts and aesthetic practice.
