The works Sex and the City - Ruhrpott Archive were created during a three-month residency in the Ruhr area. Nadja Abt (*1984, lives in Berlin) thus draws on her interest in text in public space and interprets the nostalgic, anachronistic promise of consumption that these store typographies seek to evoke.
Nadja Abt (*1984, lives in Berlin) studied literature, art history and fine arts in Berlin and Buenos Aires. Her works have been exhibited internationally, including at HKW Berlin, Casa Triângulo São Paulo, Kunsthalle Freeport Porto and Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin.
