Of course, not all of life can have a king—after all, what times are we living in? But it is certain that all of life can have a queen, and that this queen can be a shark. Pardon: a shark (feminine). The shark—she has teeth, yes, but she is no predator; rather, she is a loving queen, entirely uninterested in conventional monarchies, dressed and endowed with the wisdom of those who say, “The emperor has no clothes.” She is a queen who knows how to both dethrone and crown, as one can see. She crowns things into crowns—truly—she crowns a dog who may perhaps be called Jean de Brunhoff; she can crown anyone and anything, and whoever was not yet a king or queen may soon become one. This is a modern fairy tale.
