The English noun “weight” refers to the measurement of heaviness or mass; it sounds phonetically similar to “wait” – to pause, remain, or stay. The verb “weigh,” contained within weight, translates as “to consider something carefully, to measure,” similar in meaning to the Middle High German word wāge – “to place something on the scales,” from which the related verb wagen (“to dare” or “to risk something”) is derived.
Thus, “Weight Watchers” are not only a company that markets a dieting method and promotes restraint, but also faces made of cookies, whose sweet gazes tempt one to risk gaining weight.

FORT is an artist duo consisting of Alberta Niemann (*1982 in Bremen) and Jenny Kropp (1978 in Frankfurt/Main), who have been working together since 2008. Their work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Kunsthalle Gießen (2019), Hamburger Kunstverein (2018), the Langen Foundation, Neuss (2017), and the kestnergesellschaft, Hanover (2015). In 2016 they received the Cremer Prize, the New York Travel Grant of the Hessian Cultural Foundation, and in 2014 the New Positions Award of Art Cologne.
