The Twin Hoodies, specially produced by the Hamburg-based fashion label AddLabel, humorously create a wearable twin of the artworks available with us this year and thus a mobile, placeless, de-institutionalized exhibition of annual gifts. The sweaters operate in the ambivalent space between a "parasitic" relationship to the original and their own status as a dressing artwork.
AddLabel is a fashion label founded in 2016 by Taalke Schöningh and Sabrina Seifried in Hamburg. The design of this label is based on high-quality cotton shirts and accessories in various colors, which are designed in cooperation with selected visual artists and offered for sale in limited editions.
