The collages by Anys Reimann are affect-laden. They animate to touch the sensual materials (suede, smooth leather, fur, etc.), seduce with implied false trails and are sexy. Often the illustration snippets of skin, body fragments, hair ... are combined and completed by paintings with a strange laconicness, which suggests a briskly thrown down, which it certainly is not. The content is about identity as a human being (self-confident and proud - not lamenting), as well as the deconstruction (and sometimes back to synthesizing) of objects and bodies.
