EMERGING ARTISTS V

Emerging Artists - Biennal for Contemporary Art from Dortmund

Every two years, Emerging Artists presents young artists from Dortmund, selected by a jury of experts, in a group exhibition. Theory and practice are intensively linked: a newly formed team of students and graduates of the local universities jointly conceive the graphic appearance, the scenography, the photographs and the mediation program for the exhibition. Finally, a catalog will be produced.

Public, free supporting program

As an experimental platform for young talents, Emerging Artists also offers all cultural professionals opportunities to orient themselves in cultural fields of work. The diverse and public framework program is dedicated to the questions and challenges of artistic and creative fields of activity. Emerging Artists is a cooperation between the Dortmunder Kunstverein and uzwei in the Dortmunder U.
