"Evidence of process is work. I do not make precious objects; my  installations are collections of stuff. I attempt to construct a  believable and complete delusory fantasy, from the debris of every day  life. I explore the themes of aspiration, unattainable ideals and  failure. I focus on the joy in the distraction of futile endeavour."

"Der Nachweis eines Prozesses ist Arbeit. Ich mache keine kostbaren Objekte; meine Installationen sind Materialsammlungen. Mit Hilfe von Überbleibseln des Alltags versuche ich, eine glaubwürdige und zugleich täuschende Fantasie zu konstruieren. Ich erforsche Sehnsüchte,  unerreichbare Ideale und das Versagen. Der Fokus meiner Arbeit ist  die Freude daran sinnloses Bestreben aufzudecken." Dillan Marsh
